We’ve got two major, meteoric March events coming up this week!
The first is, of course, our monthly member meeting, to be held on Friday, March 11th, at 7:00PM through Zoom. Our topic this month is “Extreme Astronomy”, presented by the Vice-President of the Astronomical League, Charles E. Allen. We’ll also have our regular breakout rooms to discuss astronomical topics with other members. The invitation went out earlier this week, so please check your email for it, and reach out to Mike Humphrey if you didn’t receive it.
Our second event is our Looking Up! Virtual Star Party, to be held at 8PM on Saturday, March 12th. Our fellow BAA members will hold presentations on monthly celestial events, basic stargazing… and we’ll also be celebrating Near Miss Day! What’s that?
