We will have the observatory open rain or shine.
We hope to see everyone under clear skies!
What to expect:
- Guided Stargazing: Our volunteer astronomers will have telescopes set up to spot highlights like the Andromeda Galaxy, Saturn, and maybe even some early fall constellations like Pegasus. Weather permitting, of course – fingers crossed for clear skies!
- Indoor Presentations: If the clouds roll in, we’ll head inside for a cozy talk on “Meteors, and More.”
October’s Public Night falls on NASA’s International Observe the Moon Night. So come on out and observe the Moon with us!
