Meetings of the Buffalo Astronomical
Association are held on the second Friday of each month from September
through June (except for the March dinner meeting). Our meetings
generally start at 7:30 pm unless the time is changed to accommodate a
special event or speaker.
Important Note!!
Due to construction, our normal meeting room in
the Science Building at Buffalo State College will not be
available during the fall semester. Beginning September 2009, our
meetings will be held in Classroom Building C122 located just
to the north of the Science Building. Follow directions (#35) on the
Buffalo State College map located
here and another map is available
here.
Our old location was in Building 15 - the new
location is in Building 35.
Meetings will return to the usual location in the New Science Building auditorium
(room NS213) on the campus of Buffalo State College following the
completion of construction. Until that time our meetings will be held
in Classroom Building C122. PLEASE NOTE,
however, that BAA meetings are sometimes held at the Buffalo Museum of
Science as well as at the planetarium at Williamsville North High
School. So before you drive to where you think a meeting
is being held, please be sure to first confirm the location of that
meeting on our Events Calendar.
